Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is nutrition coaching?
Nutrition coaching provides education, guidance, accountability, and support to help you build sustainable nutrition and lifestyle habits. Rather than following a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach, coaching focuses on helping you understand your choices, set realistic goals, and develop habits that fit your individual lifestyle.
2. Is Pathos Performance Nutrition a dietitian or medical service?
No. Pathos Performance Nutrition provides coaching and general nutrition education. Coaching is not medical care, medical nutrition therapy, diagnosis, or treatment.
If your needs fall outside the scope of coaching, you may be encouraged to work with an appropriate healthcare professional.
3. If I have a question, how do I get in contact?
If you have a question, you can email us at Pathosnutrition@gmail.com.
4. Do you have membership contracts?
No. Pathos does not have contracts with our memberships. Members are able to cancel a week before their scheduled billing date.
5. Will you give me a meal plan?
No, Pathos Performance Nutrition does not provide rigid or prescriptive meal plans. Pathos focuses on nutrition coaching, education, accountability, and practical strategies rather than telling you exactly what to eat.
Your coaching will focus on helping you learn how to make informed nutrition choices, build sustainable habits, and find an approach that fits your lifestyle and goals. The specific guidance and resources provided will vary based on your individual coaching plan and needs.
6. What can I expect from coaching?
You can expect goal-setting, nutrition education, accountability, practical strategies, progress check-ins, and ongoing support.
Coaching is collaborative. You are an active participant in the process, and we work together to identify realistic steps that move you toward your goals.
7. Are sessions virtual or in person?
Pathos Performance Nutrition currently offers virtual coaching, allowing you to participate from wherever you are.
Virtual coaching provides flexibility while still giving you personalized support, accountability, and regular opportunities to check in on your progress.
8. What if I have a medical condition or take medication?
Pathos does not diagnose or treat medical conditions or provide medical nutrition therapy.
If you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant, or have other circumstances requiring specialized care, you should work with your physician or an appropriately licensed healthcare professional.
Nutrition coaching is intended to complement and NOT replace professional healthcare.
